Το πρόγραμμα είναι πλήρως επιδοτούμενο από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ και καλύπτονται ταξιδιωτικά έξοδα έως 250 ευρώ.

Κατά τη διάρκεια του προγράμματος θα χρησιμοποιηθούν μέθοδοι μη τυπικής εκπαίδευσης και η γλώσσα εργασίας θα είναι τα Αγγλικά.

Project summary:

The youth exchange «Let’s Dance» focus on cultural awareness and creative expression. This will be done through learning about dances, focusing on traditional ones as very significant part of each culture. Traditional and folklore dances, indeed, can describe the main characteristics of a nation, since they have been formed and developed through centuries, so that they actually reflect a nation’s culture, and every dance is a short description of the identity of a Country. Moreover, dances can be a very powerful tool to foster social inclusion, as they can break any kind of stereotype and communication barrier among people, and it’s a way to unleash passion and share with the others feelings and emotions.

This project is designed for youth leaders, young people and volunteers involved in their sending NGOs, or simply youngsters who have special interest and motivation in the topic of the exchange and have intention to use their new competences to be more involved in their communities, particularly through creative and cultural ways of expression.

Considering the considerations above, specific objectives of the youth exchange are:
– To foster mutual understanding and cooperation between young people from different cultures, supporting and promoting cultural diversity
– To stimulate young people’s sense of initiative, creativity and active participation in society
– To develop a sense of belonging to common EU values
– To raise awareness about Erasmus+ programme

All the activities will be carried on with non-formal education methodologies, testing participants with icebreaking, teambuilding, role-plays, group works, interactive presentations, workshops, open spaces and reflection moments, always following an inclusive approach. Through this process we aim to provide participants with the right tools to strengthen their learning process, creating an experiential path that will be completely focused on their needs. Everyone will be encouraged to share experiences and take initiatives and challenges, with the support of experienced facilitators, leaders and organizing team.
