Το πρόγραμμα είναι πλήρως επιδοτούμενο από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ και καλύπτονται ταξιδιωτικά έξοδα έως 250 ευρώ.

Κατά τη διάρκεια του προγράμματος θα χρησιμοποιηθούν μέθοδοι μη τυπικής εκπαίδευσης και η γλώσσα εργασίας θα είναι τα Αγγλικά.

Project summary:

The youth exchange «Art in Movement» focuses on cultural awareness and artistic expression related to the topic of migration. We are living one of the greatest human mobility era in history; however, it is still one of the least understood phenomenon, leading to challenges and issues that are often difficult to address. The waves of migration of recent years have been raising many concerns in Europe as they tend to be connected with extremism without any real evidence. The result is a bad public image that leads to fear, prejudice, xenophobia and discrimination towards migrants, all of which are against EU values and have a great impact in peace and prosperity of Europe.

This project is therefore designed for youth leaders, young people and volunteers involved in their sending NGOs, or simply youngsters who have special interest and motivation in the topic of the exchange and have intention to use their new competences to be more involved in their communities, particularly through entrepreneurship.

Based on the considerations above, specific objectives of the youth exchange are:
– To raise young people’s awareness and understanding on migration, explaining it from different perspectives
-To promote diversity, intercultural dialogue and learning
-To develop positive attitudes towards arts and its expressions, encouraging sense of initiative, critical thinking and creativity
-Discover different non-formal and artistic approaches of education to support young people to make a change in their local contexts
– Promote Erasmus+ programme and its opportunities

All the activities will be carried on with non-formal education methodologies, testing participants with icebreaking, teambuilding, role-plays, group works, interactive presentations, workshops, open spaces and reflection moments, always following an inclusive approach. Through this process we aim to provide participants with the right tools to strengthen their learning process, creating an experiential path that will be focused on their needs. Everyone will be encouraged to share experiences and take initiatives and challenges, with the support of experienced facilitators, leaders and organizing team.
